1.5 Years in STIN

Samsung Telecommunication Indonesia or STIN is one of biggest CDMA vendor company in the world, and Samsung is one of top 50 in world. Now, I have been working in STIN as MSC Engineer for 1.5 years since 1 January 2006 and ofcourse I have so many experience in switching domain, especially now samsung appointed by Mobile-8 to deploy Next Generation Network in Sumatra, Java and Bali.

Working in samsung is my starting point in switching, since in previous company, Wireless Indonesia, I just worked on Sitac and NSS / Data Core. As a MSC Engineer position, there are so many work scope should I master, so many knowledge and skill required, such as must master No7, IN, IP network, Charging, Hardware, Solaris O/S, X.25 and many more. Become MSC engineer with nokia is make more advantage, the one is about working environment, yah everyone know working in samsung if there are no problem occured , we’re just standbye and chatting, flirting the girl in sabang or office with co-workers, or accompany my friends ngudud in pantry or stairs. But about the salary, yah everyone knows about the different salary of this company, samsung have more rated than my previous company. but if compared with Europe or US company, we are smaller . “But just enjoy aja…”

Today may be the good day, cause my boss is busy with the project…yah may be tomorrow its may be continued… and continued, so I can chat everyday, browsing and learn new things, and make friends, and also flirting, and also ‘makan-makan’ in pantry, and also ‘BBS’ or sleep after pray, and….. so many boring activities…
